Meet the team at the Sai Sishya International School
Mr. Balaji has 20 years experience working in IT services sector in different countries. Inspired by his parents contribution to society in educational field and motivated by his dream to setup an university, he is working with his wife, Ms. Ramaa, in laying a foundation for a high quality affordable international schools in Tokyo.
Harish has over 20 years of experience in management and sales in Japan. After co-founding Meritechin Japan in 2003, he served as COO of the company. Since 2012 he has been the CEO of the same company, which is aleading manufacturer of mobile network monitoring and performance optimization & solutions.
Harish is a firm believer of “Giving Back” to society through the mode of education. Therefore, for serving his motherland, and for the bright future of India, he with his wife Unnati founded Wisdom World School, Kurukshetra – India in 2011. Harish believes that an investment in education always pays the best dividends to the society.
He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kurukshetra University, India.
Ms. Ramaa is a versatile personality with a gold medal in both Bachelors (Physics) and Masters in Computer Applications, a national level junior table tennis player, a successful IT career for 11 years, an entrepreneur who established a school from basic foundation to 400 students in 6 years time. She has been studying different curricula and her first established school was the pioneer to get the International preschool curriculum for Kindergarten in Japan and also a flagship school for Cambridge education in Tokyo. She moved on to establishing Sai Sishya International School – an IB World school for PYP in 2017. She has been expanding her horizon in the field of education and is very passionate about the changes in education system that would help the future generation to be a successful leaders.
Unnati has been instrumental when it comes to education of children. She has been one of the key founding members Wisdom World School,Kurukshetra – India which was started in 2011.In last10 years, the school has grown from 237 students to 2400+ students and from 59 employees to 280+ employees.She has always dreamt for an affordable& international educational institution in Japan.
She has been one the trustees of Wisdom Social Welfare Trust and has been involved in a lot of charitable activities in India. She has been the key managing founder of cultural and academic exchange of students between India and Japan for Wisdom World School from India and numerous Japanese schools of Tokyo and Chiba.
She also has extensive experience of corporate teaching in Japan. She has been very active in cultural activitiesand pursuing her passion of dance via her dance academy Groovers Tokyo.
She has a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Bachelor’s degree in Functional English from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Ms. Tsuboya Ikuko has extensive experience in the education sector including her current appointment as an education advisor for the Japanese government. She is a key figure in the growth of the International Baccalaureate (IB) in Japan. She is a member of the IB Asia Pacific Regional Council and her experience includes driving the implementation of the IB Dual Language Diploma in the Japanese national school system. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Tokyo International School, President of the Japan International Education Center and Chief Director of Tokyo’s International Secondary School. SSIS offers its gratitude to Ms. Ikuko Tsuboya, who has always been inspiring and motivating to upcoming schools.
Head Of School
Ms. Rebecca Yarita joins us from the United States where she studied education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with emphasis in language acquisition for students in grades K-12. Before arriving in Japan she worked in public and private schools in Wisconsin and also worked in adult education. While in Japan she has had the opportunity to work with the following curricula – US Common Core, UK National, and Cambridge International Examinations at various grade levels. She has been living in Japan for 15 years
She is a firm believer in evidence based practice, the method of making curricular and academic strategy decisions based on research and best practice. Due to this belief, the core areas of reading, writing and mathematics take high priority in her academic planning for the school. She also believes all students can learn and make progress with appropriate levels of support and encouragement at both school and home.

I was born in Tokyo. I have twins daughter and one more daughter.
I have challenging hobbies like Archery, some sports, singing, reading a books, Rattan crafts and traveling so on.
I’m happy to be able to involve with students and parents in SSIS.
I have experience in jobs for accounting, labor, HR, planning for long time.
I have studied nutrition in the university and have a Nutritionist license and calligraphy teacher license.
I am a certified Japanese teacher for teaching foreign children.
